Your Body Has the Answers
Saturday, 4 - 4:45 pm, Lecture Room 2
Lecture is Free with General Admission
Our bodies are much more than vehicles that gets us from place to place allowing us to experience our physical world. In this workshop we will learn how to communicate with and trust what our bodies have to say. We have all had the experice of asking others for the answers. Our culture has taught us to look outside ourselves when we are in distress. We seek medical help for a pain that won't go away, take aspirin for a fever, ask someone to create a diet for us becasue we have forgotten how to eat. Our bodies already have the answers we are seeking. Have you ever relished in the wisdom of the body to process the food we eat, dispose of waste, heat up just enough to kill off the bacteria that could potentailly harm us, maintian the rate and rhytm of your heart, produce goose-bumps to warm us up on a cold day? When you've felt pain, have you ever considered that maybe it is your body's attemt to you to notice and feel it? Our bodies have adapted to the enviornment for centures-getting more and more brilliant. We will teach you easy communication tools to access the bodies wisdom. Doing these exercises will create a powerful sense of self reliance and ease.
