Wisdom TherapyTM is an empirically validated approach that integrates the best practices of western psychological science and eastern traditions. Its components are Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Meditation, and the active cultivation of humility. Wisdom Therapy has demonstrated efficacy in decreasing anger, anxiety, stress, and depression, while simultaneously facilitating everyday problem solving, mindfulness, humility, empathy, compassion, gratitude, well-being, productivity, relationships, and health.
Shani Robins, Ph.D. pioneered Wisdom TherapyTM in 1998, is founder and director of the Wisdom Therapy Institute (www.wisdomtherapy.com) in Palo Alto, California, and is faculty at Stanford University & ITP (www.itp.edu).
